Independent flights
I usually find reasonable flights by surfing the internet.
www.travelrepublic.co.uk and www.olympicholidays.com have been useful for me in the past.
Fly to:
Skiathos:
From Skiathos Airport, take the Flying Dolphin hydrofoil or a ferry to Alonnisos ( 30 –90 min. trip)
Athens:
From Athens Airport, take a bus or taxi to the Alkyon Travel Office at 97 Akademia, Kanigos Square. From there take the Flying Dolphin Bus to Agios Konstantinos, and the Flying Dolphin hydrofoil/cat to Alonnisos. (Total time from Athens 5 –6 hours).
Or find a connecting half hour flight to Skiathos with Olympic Airlines.
Thessaloniki:
Hydrofoil / Cat / Ferry to Alonnisos; or bus to Volos and hydrofoil from there.
Volos:
(not many flights)
